Not to mention having someone there by your side.

Look at the Bigger Picture

Focusing on every single detail of life college demands you to focus on can be more than just stressful. It can be overwhelming to the point where you see no way out. That is the perfect time to forget about all the little things, deadlines and obligations you might have in that moment. Concentrate on seeing the bigger picture. Positive affirmations can really be helpful as well. If you remember that the point of going to college is to learn something and get the proper base for your future career. Getting a little perspective can help with stress a lot.

Ignore the Stress

Probably the last thing you've thought of doing is to ignore the stress you're under. But, more than often, students get even more frustrated when they constantly think about the stress and talk about it with everyone. Don't focus on the negativity and simply try to shut off the stress. Don't think about it, don't talk about it, because your thoughts can be your worst enemy when you're under pressure. Try to think as if you're feeling happy and carefree, or even try to pretend you're feeling like that. A positive mind and positive thoughts can have a greater impact on your state of mind than all the negative thoughts you can think of.
